Connect the cassette by fitting the hooks onto the pivot pins at the pump base and push the cassette up against the pump.
Place the pump on a steady surface.
Hold the cassette firmly and, using the cassette key or a coin, secure it by turning the lock knob 90° counterclockwise to a distinctly felt stop.
Please observe!
It is absolutely necessary to secure the cassette properly; it is vital to the pump mechanism. An alarm signal will sound, even when the pump is stopped, if the cassette becomes disconnected.
How to remove the medicine cassette:
Place the combined pump and medicine cassette in an upright position on a steady surface.
Using e.g. a coin, turn the lock knob 90° clockwise.
The Lock knob will pop out slightly as the cassette becomes unlocked.
Unhook the cassette from the pump-hinge.
Store the used medicine cassette in darkness if is to be used further during the day.
