• One year in freezer.

Heat and light accelerate degradation.

Carbidopa is the more sensitive and degrades first, turning the medicine a pale yellow. L-dopa degradation renders the medicine darker in color (black).
Note that both carbidopa and L-dopa may irritate the skin. Wash off medicine that contacts your skin!
